What to Do If You Start Seeing Pimples Again

It’s really quite simple if you start breaking out after being clear. Book a check-in appointment with us (either online or in the clinic). We will review all of these questions with you, as well as dive in more deeply to uncover exactly what may be happening.

In recent conversations with two clients in particular, we found that the coconut oil they are consuming in non-dairy butter and other non-dairy products may be what’s causing them to have an occasional pimple around the mouth. While coconut oil is not safe to apply topically on acne-prone skin, it is fine to consume it in your diet. However, beware of residual coconut oil lingering around your lips.

Acne is sneaky. It looks for any way to surface on your skin, so you have to be diligent about everything you put on your face and into your body.
