With the option of fresh or dried herbs, homemade ranch can be kept on hand year round. Use it as a salad dressing, in bowls, or as a dip for veggies.
- ¾ cup Vegan Mayo, primal kitchen
- ¼ cup non-dairy milk, unsweetened almond milk is what I use.
- 1/4 cup vegan sour cream, non-dairy vegan sour cream
- 2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoon dried dill
- 2 teaspoon dried parsley
- 2 teaspoon dried chives
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- In a small bowl mix non-dairy milk with apple cider vinegar
- Let sit for 10 minutes, this creates a “buttermilk”
- In a blender or nutra bullet, blend non-diary “buttermilk”, and all herbs & spices
- In a separate bowl or storage container whisk together: mayo, sour cream, buttermilk herb/spice
- Marinate in fridge for at least 1 hour to thicken
If ranch is too thick for your liking — Add tablespoons of water (1 at a time) and whisk until it’s to your desired consistency & enjoy!
