New year, New you, and New Resolutions!

Skincare Resolutions for 2021

Skincare resolutions for the new year ahead is on everyone’s to do list. On every 31st of December, you make a promise to curate positive changes in your life and live quality over quantity. But after a week or two, you’re back to your same old self. Binge watching your favorite Netflix series (we’re looking at you The Office fans) while eating junk food, and completely foregoing your resolutions.

Do you want clear skin?

But, did you know that these habits of yours are actually harming your skin? Neglecting a healthier lifestyle not only impacts your body; it also affects your skin. It’s easy to reach for the makeup to feel beautiful, but why not give yourself a chance to rejuvenate your skin from the inside out with some natural healthy solutions this year?

There’s been a silver lining in 2020 – Lockdown was and is a great time to clear.  There has never been a better time to achieve those New Year skincare resolutions than now. You don’t have to go out. You get to wear a mask, covering almost your entire face. It’s been a blessing in disguise.

We saw so many clients get clear through Covid in 2020. Getting you clear is our goal every year! Now more than ever is the absolute perfect time to make those positive changes you’ve been longing for. Here are some great tips to help kickstart your New Year!

Skincare Resolutions: Say Yes to Water

Dehydrated skin often causes wrinkles, fine lines, and loss of skin elasticity. To save your skin from all these conditions, you need to drink enough water. The easiest way to increase your liquid intake is by setting a reminder on your phone. Or by flavoring water with a little essential oil or water enhancer.

Sammy gave me the best Christmas present this year…Drip Drop is an electrolyte powder that is yummy and doesn’t contain any acne-causing ingredients.

Prioritize Your Workout Routine

Staying in your bed in the winter season may seem like an excellent idea to you, but it’s a bad choice for your skin. Skincare Resolution: If you want to make your skin glow, you need to get out of your blanket fort and exercise. Our bodies need to move!

Regular cardio helps in reducing stress hormones, improves blood circulation, and oxygenates skin cells giving you that glistening youthful glow. Besides that, sweating during any workout session removes the bacteria and toxins from your skin. Detoxification makes your skin healthy and happy.

Get Your Beauty Sleep

Resolutions to get more sleep!? Sign me up.

What is better than opting for a resolution that encourages you to sleep and relax!

Your body has self-healing properties, and when you sleep soundly, your body’s cortisol level reduces. It helps in the repair of skin cells and the regeneration of new skin cells.

By getting enough Z’s, you’re giving yourself a New Year gift of fresh, healthy, rejuvenated skin.

Staying Clear Through COVID

Our Skin is the body’s largest organ, so it needs to be given extra love and care. Kick those bad skincare habits to the curb this year to achieve your best New Year skincare resolutions and start your journey to healthier, glowier skin!
